Ultralight backpack suitable for treks, pilgrimages as well as shorter trips.
Product information
- Manufacturer: Gossamer Gear
- Product code: GORILLA
Gossamer Gear Gorilla 50 is an ultralight backpack suitable for treks, pilgrimages as well as shorter trips.
It is rightfully one of our best-selling backpacks and most popular models among our team members. It won us over thanks to its great balance of weight, carrying comfort and durability. The backpack belongs to the top weight class due to its volume, it is very comfortable to carry even on long trips and, most importantly, it can withstand such long deployments. We also appreciate the practical removable back padding, which can be turned into a seat in no time. We also love the giant external pockets that always seem to fit what we need. According to Outdoor Gear Lab, it's one of the best ultralight backpacks on the market. You can read the test results and a detailed review of the backpack here.
2024 update
- The most significant change is the completely redesigned PVT back system, which significantly moves the already great level of carrying comfort forward and, most importantly, now works better for a wider range of body types. The shoulder straps now hug the shoulders better and are more ergonomically shaped. The longer frame allows you to pull the load closer to your back with the load-lifter straps. The frame to waist belt connection is now movable, making the pack more responsive to the user's movements, increasing wearing comfort.
- The backpacks are made from recycled materials that do not contain harmful chemicals known as PFAS.
- The range of purchasable waist belts has been extended with the "Curve" version. Those are slightly curved and more suitable for some figures.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE OF THE BACKPACK?
Have the length of your spine measured from the level of the iliac crest (the top of the bone on the side of your back) to the C7 vertebrae at the base of your neck. This is the top of the first vertebra that protrudes when the head is tilted.

HIPBELT SIZES
The backpack has a replaceable hipbelt available in different lenghts as well as straight and curved variants. The backpack already comes with a hipbelt included from the factory (see below for variants coming with each backpack size). If you wish to increase your carry comfort and dial the fit to your body, you can order a different hipbelt separately.

Waist to Hip Ratio | Calculate your WHR by dividing your waist measurement by your hip measurement. If it is 0.85 or lower, you will likely need a curved hipbelt. If it is higher than 0.85, you will likely need a straight hipbelt. |

- hůky nelze vyndat a zandat bez sundání batohu

Asi zkusím koupit Air flow Camp seat.
