Product information

The Gossamer Gear Kumo is an ultralight yet durable backpack suitable for short day to multi-day trips in the outdoors. Also for longer treks and pilgrimages, if you have a really lightweight and stackable gear and a regular opportunity to replenish your supplies.

It can be used as hand luggage on the plane (meets size limits).

BACK AND STRAPS

The back of the backpack is not reinforced with a solid frame!

HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE OF THE BACKPACK?

Have the length of your spine measured from the level of the iliac crest (the top of the bone on the side of your back) to the C7 vertebrae at the base of your neck. This is the top of the first vertebra that protrudes when the head is tilted.

Velmí lehký batoh (vzhledem ke kapacitě)
Kvalitní provední
Dobře sedí na zádech
Ač batoh nemá výstuhu zad, konstrukce ji umožňuje snadno doplnit
Pokud máte rádi výstuhu zad, tak zde ji nenajdete (což je ovšem záměrem - vzhledem k orientaci na nízkou váhu)
Odvětrání zad by možná bylo možné vyřešit lépe

S tímhle batohem jsem šla 4 týdny 500 km pouť do Santiaga de Compostela a v pohodě stačil.

Po asi 4 různých batozích jsem dospěl až sem. Po cca 120 km s batohem můžu částečně ventilovat nějakou zkušenost. Po ne úplně dobré zkušenosti s Aetherem od Osprey jsem si začátkem roku koupil Gorillu 50 l, za mě super batoh, ale došel jsem k závěru, že na celodenní pochod je to zbytečně moc velký batoh, tak jsem hledal podobný a nalezl jsem tento, tak jsem ho koupil. Oproti Gorille (za mě ideální batoh na 2 a více dní) je to takový akčnější batoh a asi zásadní rozdíl oproti objemu je i absence větší podpory zad (asi to lze nějak i řešit). Nicméně mě to po pár pochodech moc nechybí, asi je to dost o zvyku a upřímně víc mě záda bolela z Ospreye. Za mě je to ideální batoh na denní pochody, dokážu si s tímto batohem velice dobře představit i prodloužený víkend pátek až neděle, a teoreticky skutečně i vícedenní tůru. Ale je třeba podtrhnout to, že na vícedenní tůru je třeba si už opravdu umět připravit vybavení, brát jen to, co člověk potřebuje (taky je třeba myslet na rozměry a váhu vybavení a podobně) a umět to do/na batoh naskládat. Když si to tedy nějak vše sedne, tak je to dobrý batoh téměř na cokoliv.
