The BetaLock™ is an aircraft-grade aluminum carabiner that can be locked with a key to deter theft. Use it to instantly connect, identify, or secure your gear. TSA approved.

Carabiners and locks are both crucial pieces in our travel kit, but carrying a lock is a drag. Locks are cumbersome, slow to use, uninspired, and often get left behind as a result. The BetaLock™ was designed to address exactly that.

It works perfectly as a rugged EDC carabiner and transitions seamlessly into a theft-deterring lock at the turn of a key. It’s lightweight and multi-use so there’s no reason to leave it behind. The most effective lock is the one you have on-hand when you need it.

Karabina je univerzální věc, kterou mám s sebou na každé cestě. Při častém spaní v hostelech, kde je potřeba mít vlastní zámek na skříňku nebo při častém létání, kdy si chci zamknout kufr/batoh, aby mi ho cestou někdo nevybral, se mi líbí, když můžu mít obojí - zámek a karabinu v jednom.
Určitě doporučuji kombinaci s lankem BetaLock Accessory Cable, které umožní i použití s malými očky, kam se samotná karabina nevejde.

Kromě zamykání skříněk jsem s ní v Gruzii v kombinaci s lankem zamykala kolo.
V Ázerbajdžánu při bivakování příliš blízko města jsem s ní v kombinaci s lankem zamkla batoh k zipu u spacáku.
Při létání lankem zamknu víko odbaveného batohu tak, aby se nedal otevřít a vykrást.
Když jsem sama u moře a chci jít do vody, zamknu s ní zip batohu, aby se nedal otevřít a lankem to celé přidělám k nějakému sloupu (nebo co je při ruce).
V Peru jsem s ní zamykala celý pokoj, kde bylo potřeba mít vlastní zámek.
